Aroha mai, aroha atu // Love received is love given

KOHA productions was started in 2014 in Tāmaki-makau-rau (Auckland, New Zealand) by husbands Koro Dickinson and Harry McNaughton. KOHA is both a portmanteau of their first names and a Māori word meaning ‘gift’, reflecting the aronga (purpose) of the company: the gift of love, spread through stories.

Our stories showcase the beauty, strength and insight of unique and diverse voices. Our work is collaborative and inclusive, characterised by vivid, evocative and unusual storytelling.
